So it was with John and Tomoko, married for decades that they divided between living in Japan and the USA. Tomoko earned a reputation for being an amazing cook in both countries. While “stateside,” she often invited Japanese friends to dine in her Arizona home, where John, a skilled photographer, captured images of lavish authentic Japanese feasts.
